👉 Activity: Space Travel: "Planet Friends"
Idea:
• Children explore the solar system and each participant chooses one planet.
• Prepare an illustration and a short text with a "biography" of the planet.
This feature will help them learn about the specific characteristics of the planet.
Create a presentation using Animoto or Canva:
• Animoto – a service that allows children to create short videos. These can be animated videos about the planets, for example, a video where the planet moves and shows various interesting facts.
• Canva – here children will create a graphic presentation that represents a photo of a planet and its biography. Here they can use real photos of the planet (space images).
This activity will not only develop knowledge about the planets, but also create presentations that will improve their communication and creative skills.

👉 "Earth in Space - Our Amazing Home"
1. Space Travel: Have children create a small spaceship and “prepare” for the trip. They can also create their own space passports and record the details of their “trip”.
2. Earth Model: Have children create a model of the Earth using paper. Then discuss what is special about Earth and why it is our amazing home.
3. (You can) Space Pictures: Show children pictures of space, such as planets, stars and galaxies. Then discuss what is special about Earth and space.
4. (You can) Space Experiments: Conduct simple experiments that show how gravity works, what it is like to be in space and the differences between Earth and space.
5. (You can) Virtual Travel: We can use virtual reality (VR) or 3D simulations. There are many online resources that allow children to virtually “see” space.
6. (You can) Space Stories: Have children write or create a story about their journey, describing their adventures and what they saw in space.
7. (You can) Space Art: Children can draw or create artwork that depicts Earth in space. This could include pictures of planets, stars, and galaxies.
